My Story

As a clinical social work intern and MSW student at Grand Valley State University, I
bring a culturally informed perspective to mental health care. My passion lies in
supporting individuals and families as they navigate depression, anxiety, substance
abuse, addiction, and the lasting effects of childhood abuse and trauma. I also work
closely with families to help them better understand each other and the dynamics that
shape their relationships. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing on behavioral
strategies, cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness practices. I believe in tailoring my
approach to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring they feel supported,
understood, and empowered throughout their journey. Music, yoga, and meditation are
important to me in staying grounded and regulating emotions, and I bring that same
mindfulness to my clients. Whether you are seeking help with mental health challenges,
working through trauma, or improving family dynamics, I’m here to provide a safe and
compassionate space for you to heal and grow.
